First you need to have accessed the Permit
Manager Web page where you choose Florida and Tallahassee from
the drop down boxes at the bottom of the screen. If you have not
done so, you might do it in the winsow below. Once you are in
the City of Tallahassee Permit Manager web page, to check on a filed permit click on "Check/Research
Permits" on this screen.

you may obtain a permit issued by the Building
Inspections Division.
We are located at 408 North Adams Street,
Tallahassee, FL 32301. The hours of operation for
the Building Inspections Division are from 7:30 AM
to 5:00 PM (Monday-Friday).
Applications are received in our office between
the hours of 7:30 AM and 4:30 PM (Monday-Friday).
Only Registered Users can use this site to
schedule inspections and apply for permits that do
not require plan review. At this time, registered
users can apply for Mechanical permits only, however;
a registered user may use this site to schedule
inspections for all other permits issued by the
Building Inspection office. Please use the
