Leon County and the City of Tallahassee have been working collaboratively since 1993 through an Interlocal Agreement to provide a single point of reference for permitting, licensing, and contracting. This new Tallahassee/Leon County Permitting Portal is the latest effort to modernize and to provide additional resources for citizens and the contractor community. Updates and enhancements to this Portal will be ongoing.
Tallahassee-Leon County Permits Online, TLCPO, is just the beginning to the e-government services that the city and county growth management staffs hope to provide their customers in the years to come. Initially, TLCPO will provide three basic services:
- Permit Information The permit information function gives the user an opportunity to explore the status of permits within the Permit and Enforcement System (PETS) database. City of Tallahassee / Leon County
- Inspection Scheduling and Information The inspection scheduling function gives the user an opportunity to request an inspection. The inspection information function provides the user an opportunity to explore the status of inspections within the Permit and Enforcement System (PETS) database. City of Tallahassee / Leon County
- Limited Online Permitting for Licensed Contractors The permit application function provides contractors the ability to apply for a permit. City of Tallahasse / Leon County
